4049 - Hex Inverter

TThe 4049 is a CMOS hex inverter IC containing six independent NOT gates. It’s designed for both digital logic inversion and analog signal processing, thanks to its ability to handle input voltages higher than the supply (useful for level shifting). It offers high current sink capability, making it suitable for driving LEDs or other loads. Operating from 3V to 15V, it’s versatile and widely used in logic and buffer applications.
