4518 - BCD up-counter

The 4518 is a dual BCD (Binary-Coded Decimal) up-counter IC with two synchronous 4-stage counters, each using D-type flip-flops. It supports positive or negative edge triggering, operates at 5V–18V, and has a 6 MHz typical clock frequency. With interchangeable CLOCK and ENABLE pins, it’s ideal for multistage counting and frequency division, offering high noise immunity and low power consumption in a 16-pin DIP package.
