7447 - BCD-to-7-segment decoder

The 7447 is a BCD to 7-segment decoder/driver IC designed for driving common-cathode displays. It converts 4-bit binary-coded decimal (BCD) inputs into segment control outputs (a–g), enabling display of digits 0–9. It features active-low outputs, lamp test (LT), blanking input (BI), and ripple blanking functions. Operating from 2V–6V with low power consumption, it's ideal for numeric display applications in digital clocks, counters, and calculators.
